What this is
Password Generator is a free tool for creating strong passwords and memorable passphrases entirely in your browser. It is part of the simtool.dev family of simple utilities.
Privacy
There is no backend. Generated passwords and passphrases never leave your device and are not stored. Only your settings (such as length and character sets) are saved in your browser’s local storage.
Randomness
Randomness uses the browser’s Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), never Math.random. Converting random values to integers uses rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias. The generator logic is covered by an automated test suite.
